One of the biggest CS events of the year is upon us once again. The CPL Summer event at the Gaylord centre in Dallas, Texas, is brought to you here on UKT all weekend, featuring the world's finest CS teams. We will keep you updated on the scores and coverage info, and will thereby especially focus on 'our boys', Four Kings and Team AMD Gamer. Today the is the second day of this four days-lasting tournament, in which the double elimination bracket ignites.
Yesterday two Pre Qualifier rounds were played, and as Four Kings got a bye through it and TAG's opponent didnt show up, we will be seeing both of them today, when the real action starts now the double elimination round begins.

Team AMD Gamer beat Surreal Skill 13-0 and now will meet Reckless Theories in the 2nd round of the Upper Bracket.
By beating compLexity 13-2, Four Kings advances and plays confederacy next.

Lower Bracket Round 1 is planned to proceed at 21.20 GMT tonight and finishes with its last match starting at 23.50 GMT.
Upper Bracket Round 2 is planned to proceed tonight (Friday) at noon with SK playing its first game against the winner of Evolution Vs. ForsakeN and finishes with its last match, involving NoA playing the winner of Adrena Vs. TAU, at 2.30am GMT on Saturday.
Lower Bracket Round 2 is planned to proceed at 3.30am GMT on Saturday and finishes with its last match starting at 5.10 GMT.
Lower Bracket Round 3 is planned to proceed Saturday at 16.00 GMT, Upper Bracket Round 3 is planned to proceed Saturday at 17.20 GMT.

Word reaches me TAG AMD Gamer(CS division) have been disqualfied too, They were told they weren't playing today and of course, like any team would, they went back to their hotel... turns out they were meant to be at the game they had a bye for to recieve the bye it self, 3 tannoy calls were made and of course they weren't there.. If this decision isn't overruled it's one of the biggest f*** ups i've ever seen, so i'll keep you posted on this one.

TAG (if there not dq) dont really stand a chance vs EYE but could get some rounds :), 4k should beat coL as they only have a couple o decent players & are in cal-M when it comes down to it, gl lads

http://www.caleague.com/cplbrackets/Counter-Strike.html are the brackets with times etc, www.cplcast.com has most things on. Just noticed after the re-seedings, zero-Gravity were seeded 59, out of 64 and thats why they have to play EYE, now if TAG had won the default they would be seeded around 30ish and would b playin some random American clan, ul lads.

Myers is going there to speak to the headadmins to get it overruled i think. would be ridiculous if it wasnt as afaik Zero Gravity didnt even show at the event.

I just tried to phone myers but no reply to make him aware of the situation, according to the CPL site zG have a default against TAG, i'm sure it can be overturned when they finally turn up for their next game. 4K play complexity in like an hour, so going to meet up with them lot and go down.
is it just me [okay ive had a few beers too] or was it impossible to find the 4K vs col hltv match? i literally joined 6 different hltvs althought i probably joined the same one a millions times in frustration :[ but damn thats the first time i ever got lost in Hltv City.....

HLTV didn't work until just as the game started in which case the SK-Cast7 hltv went up, the others still seemed to be showing nothing to me anyway.
Why would anyone mention NoA? They had a bye in the first round and will prob have a good game against adrena in the 2nd. They do something worth talking about?

I really hope for 4k or AMD get far, but i think its perfetic that most of the top teams missing, spiXel, adrenaline, ownage, aAa, astralis, virtus.pro then there are 1000000000 american teams that are all w**k apart from U5 & TSG!

i'd guess, and this is a completely random, but i'd guess its got something to do with the fact that the tournament in America so they don't have to pay as much to attend.
How about you pay for those teams to attend if it bothers you so much.
