UK/IE Cup: Week 5, Day 2

The UK/IE CS Cup, which aims to stand out both as online and LAN event in the United Kingdom and Ireland, started its season with 136 accepted British and Irish CS teams. After the qualifiers this number was down to 40 teams in the Groupstage, which continues its last out of five weeks, wherein a lot of important decisions are finally made. Expect some edge of your seat games as no.1 seeded teams play no.2 seeds this week.

For those of you who missed out on the videocast of last night's epic game, Four Kings Vs c4urself! , make sure to check it out as both the match and the cast were extremely exciting to follow.
To get it, surf to TsN Central, from there go to Downloads (top menu), TVsN, Counterstrike, and click the downloadable link.

You might need to register for a (free) TsN-account to be able to have access to it, but its defenitely worth it and TsN wont send you spam.

Blacklight against remOte in Group F (groupleader: zebras) is a direct match for 2nd place. Both teams have one fixture each left after this match, i: taking on z and remOte playing intrigue.

SCEE has to do one thing tonight to stay in basically: win and preferrably with a convincing score. Their opponents cant really afford to lose as well however, so this promises to be an exciting grudge match.

Alliance, currently ranked 3rd in their group behind SFAL and nocturne, need to win this last match of Group D tonight to increase their chances on a top2 final ranking, where a big score could even take them to the no.1 spot.

endEffect and China Numen, both having lost all three of their matches so far (against fcc, MM.evd and euth), are already knocked out, but yet play for honour and the fourth place tonight.

suiGeneris against Choke, the last groupmatch for both (sG has 6, tX 5, Choke 4pts), is especially ultimately decisive for Choke, as a loss would let them finish 3rd, while a win would secure the no.1 spot in the Group.

We decided we won't be making the LAN finals anyway and atleast we had fun tonight trying to get 5 idlers in the server to play caution! Also I am NO longer an admin for the cup so please don't be asking for my help sorry. Zorro has proved hes as influenced by friends and reputations as the next person.
