UK/IE Cup: 8th Finals - Day 1

The UK/IE CS Cup, started its season with 136 accepted British and Irish CS teams in March. After three rounds of qualifier, a five week groupstage, and the 16th finals, this week the 8th Finals, the final online round in the UK/IE Cup is played.

The tension rises as we reach the final stage of the UK/IE CS Cup online. After months of competition, the ultimate matches to decide which eight teams will make it to the LAN Finals are to be played this week.

The first three matches are on schedule tonight:

Wednesday's Matches

8pm	Last Chance	19	29	twisted Reality	mill / nuke	#ukiecup.1

	UniCon	17	25	CAution!	mill / nuke	#ukiecup.3

Three very interesting matches to start with, in which it will be very interesting to see:

How Last Chance managed to grow as a team in the past weeks
Whether twisted Reality has recovered from their loss of Jack
What an effect the Brazilian bootcamp has had on Four Kings' play on de_nuke
If Team-X can pull something off of the bag
UniCon can threathen CAution! in their position as favourite for their matchup.

Update:

Team Sector7G, who were to play Game2XS.MM in the 8th Finals tomorrow, declared itself officially inactive today, and had to withdraw.
A logical candidate to replace them was the team with the 'best loss' in the last round, team BLACKLiGHT (23-25 to sG).
Venom assured me his team is defenitely willing and also capable of taking the spot, and able to attend the LAN Finals would they qualify.

BLACKLiGHT thus replaces Sector7G, and is set to meet Game2XS this Sunday at 6pm.
