UK/IE Cup: Week 4 Starts

The UK/IE CS Cup, one of the most prestigious and highly anticipated CS competitions in the United Kingdom and Ireland, which aims to stand out both as online and LAN event, started its season with 136 accepted British and Irish CS teams. The Groupstage starts its fourth out of five weeks this weekend, wherein the rough decisions will fall on what teams we will and which we wont see again.

Monday's Results

8pm, BLACKLiGHT Vs remOte.uk (Group F), Wildcarded by i: (train/dust2)
9pm, SCEE 21 - 27 Rush! (Group B), (train/dust2)
noLimit 32 - 16 void.gaming (Group G), (inferno/fire)
twisted Reality 28 - 20 IEO (Group H), (inferno/fire)

Tuesday's Matches

8pm, nocturne 23 - 25 bleeding-Edge (Group D), (train/dust2)
2seXeh 2perfoRm 0 - 48 c4urself! (Group B), No show by 2s2p (train/dust2)
8.30pm, CAution! 38 - 10 CNN (Group B), (inferno/fire)
9pm, fightclubclan 40 - 8 euthanasia (Group A), (inferno/fire)
Choke 30 - 18 outrage! (Group E), (inferno/fire)

On paper nocturne face a opponent which they shouldnt be having trouble with, and therefore will look to smoothly ensure a spot in the playoffs, after last week's dissapointing 23-25 loss against SFAL (4on5 second map).
A certainly very interesting match on paper is 2s2p against c4u. With the high ammount of rivarly and bad feelings between the teams however (based on the confrontation between these two teams last Cup, in which c4u denied 2s2p entry to the quarter finals), its unsure whether Bodkin's boys will show up to face KritikaL's team once again.
CAution Vs. CNN and fightclubclan Vs. euthanasia (has shoutcast) will both be very promising and decisive matches to watch, the victors here secure the runner up position in their group already (advantage of facing a no.3 in the 16th finals).

Wednesday's Fixtures

8pm, zebras Vs eForce United (Group F), #ukiecup.1 (train/dust2)
suiGeneris Vs Synergy (Group E), #ukiecup.2 (inferno/fire)
CAution! Vs contact! (Group B), #ukiecup.3 (train/dust2)
9pm, Choke Vs Team-X (Group E), #ukiecup.4 (inferno/fire)

zebras and CAution will look to swiftly secure another two important ranking points. Team-X has to pull out a good result against Choke in their last groupmatch, knowing a loss would put their chance at a top2 ranking in danger. Synergy dont have the luxury to worry about what qualification spot will be theirs, they just need to win to stay in.
