 | The UK/IE CS Cup started its season with 136 accepted British and Irish CS teams in March. After three rounds of knock out qualifiers, a five week groupstage, and two playoff rounds, the LAN Finals are nearly upon us. |
With only a day remaining till the closing event of the UK/IE Cup II, team rosters are finalised and all speculations can be begin. WOLF, despite being offered free travel for some of its members and to stay the night at the centre, have after reconsideration decided they could still not financially afford to attend (not a single penny), and were, as none of the losing 8th finalists were available, therefore replaced by one of the most LAN active teams in the scene: ForsakeN. Seedings were redone, which resulted in: 1. An official full preview on the event has been made earlieer this week, including the teams' results so far, interviews with members of each team (such as Harriman from 4K and Rav0r from Game2XS), and a prediction on the outcome. Seeing as my team has been totally unprepared due to complete lack of practise for every game except for SCEE + Contact! I'd say everyone who we've beaten need to quit 8( or we are lucky losers.
The cup has been good so far, the best online competition I've played in though I havn't played in that many due to hating playing UK teams such as CAution! who should have in my clans opinion been kicked out the moment they lied about their demos. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
