Clanbase CS Nations Cup V: The Semi Finals

In the upcoming days both semi-finals of the CS Nations Cup V are being played. The quarter-finals saw the likes of Sweden, UK, Spain, and Austria being knocked out; now it's up to the final four to show they have what it takes to make it to the final.

The first semi-final will see the clash of Germany, who surprised many by knocking out

Sweden in the quarter-finals, and Finland, who managed to get rid of

Austria in the last round.

The other semi-final, possibly the 'match of the outsiders', is between Denmark, who were too strong for Spain in overtime, and France, who didn’t seem to have a problem at all with Team UK in the quarter-finals.

The Semi-Finals :

Saturday, 9pm:

Germany Vs. Finland (train/nuke), 8 - 25

Germany (blizzard, Roman R, n!tro, r4id, final) is the favourite in their match against Finland, and should do fine as long as they don't underestimate their opponent. The amount of coverage is something many would be envious of. The German team will be playing in one of the biggest cinemas in Europe, where hundreds of spectators can check out the match on the big screen. There will also be coverage by national TV/newspaper, whilst shoutcast, videocast, and HLTV should keep the online fans happy.

Denmark Vs. France (nuke/train)

France seem to be less prepared than Denmark for this game, which might just turn out to be the decisive factor in this apparent match of 'outsiders'.

	DoZ Anti-saviour of UKT 10:01 18/1/2004	Because Ts can completely afford to slow the pace of the game right down with the bomb timer changes. They can do 15 second rushes instead of 1 minute rushes. Add that up over 12 rounds and you've got a much longer game. They have every incentive to play slower and more carefully. They have more opportunity to pick people off and play a careful game.
