Clanbase CS Nations Cup: The Quarter Finals

Team UK performed very well thus far in this season's Nations Cup. On their list of conquests (Poland, Estonia, Finland), team Switzerland was added a week ago, securing the no.1 spot in their Group. Last night the Groupstage ended, clearing the way for the Quarter Finals...

First of all the final group rankings:

Group A:

Sweden

Spain

Slovenia

Italy

Group B:

Denmark

Germany

Hungary

Norway

Group C:

United Kingdom

Finland

Switzerland

Estonia

Group D:

Austria

France

Russia

The Netherlands

Group A
This group ended as you might have expected it to end, with Sweden ranked first, and Spain shortly after.
Group B
Denmark caused an upset by beating Germany in their last groupmatch, resulting in Germany meeting Sweden in the quarter finals.
Group C
The big surprise of the groupstage for many was the United Kingdom, who won all of their matches, reaching the quarter finals for the second time in the nation's history. This winning streak included beating Finland, the runner-up of last season.
Group D
Group D finished last night with Austria beating France. After a messy groupstart where the Netherlands were not allowed to show on their first fixture by their captain; he was fired. Russia was beaten, but the dutch lost to France, and therefore finished last in their group.

Team UK have been drawn into the quarter finals together with the seven other teams who qualified:
