Week 8 of the CAL-I CS league got underway last night, with the matches taking place on de_cbble:
TEC 13 - 11 Team 3D United5 15 - 15 Rival [OT: 3-3] TSG 18 - 6 Agent GameWyze 15 - 9 Meepins zEx 15 - 9 Forsaken shockwave 16 - 12 d!e [OT: 4-0] Cyberglobe 16 - 8 TAU Malicious 13 - 0 BiO [Forfeit] Formula1 18 - 6 La Resistance nFinite 16 - 12 SYB [OT: 4-0] xeno vs. DeadZone [Re-scheduled] Evil Geniuses vs. ICE [Re-scheduled]
3D suffer their second defeat in the last two weeks thanks to a fine performance from an increasingly strong looking TEC, who have now snatched top spot from 3D in their respective division. TEC are now on a 9-game winning streak, well done to them. The other big match of the night saw Rival and U5 fight out a draw, meaning U5 remain just a couple of points ahead of Rival in their division. Elsewhere, zEx continue their unbeaten run since joining the league with a win over Forsaken, whilst TSG reclaim top spot in their division after a good win over Agent.
