c4u 13 - 3 TAG - c4u Win i19

In a shocking turn of events, c4u managed to come back from an early tournament loss to tR to defy all odds and beat Team AMD Gamer at the UK's largest LAN.

Taking place at Newbury Racecourse, the i-series attracted a fairly decent set of teams this time round - Choke, tR, TAG, Rush, and a couple of mixes to name a few, but it was c4u who took home the prizes (whatever they are).

Here's the final details:

It remains to be seen whether this result causes a shake up in the UK CS scene. With it being BYOC I'm sure a few people won't be too bothered, but with less and less LANs taking place in the UK, maybe the i-series could get more and more popular to the top teams?

21:17 14/3/2004		 sitting in the same row as you, I can safely say alliance.cs are at the very very best, awful. Getting a match overturned with no evidence of it, whilst configging. Shame the admin declared he "didnt care" that you were using cl_bob 0, as CAL certainly do.
