- The problems with American CS? Brian "destrukt" Flander has written another excellent opinion based article for gotFrag? exploring why he believes the Euro CS scene is much better than that of the American scene. Here is a snippet:
Americans all speak the same language and our Internet sucks. In fact American CS players suck in general. That's why there is so much roster movement; such inconsistent LAN results, including the poor CPL performances that we always have. People are always looking for the next best thing for themselves, instead of improving on what they already have. I'm guilty as charged; I joined DoP because I thought it would be a guaranteed top 5 finisher at Winter CPL.
Although this could be said of the Euro scene as well I believe most of the article is nearly spot on. As a continent we have it sorted for Counter-Strike in terms of leagues,competition,prize funds and ability. Make of it what you will but definitely give it a read.
- The CS manager game I told you about is now accepting sign ups world wide. Thanks Grunt for the heads up.
- Tonight in the 2nd Female Nations Cup the UK ladies take on the ladies from Norway. The Norwiegans finished 3rd last season so if the UK gals are going to go far this will be a big test for them. The game kicks off at 7pm and will be played on de_inferno & de_train. Also in action are the men who face a very tough test against the German team. Likewise the game will kick off at 7pm and will be played on de_train & de_inferno. HLTV information and such for this game can be found on #team-uk.cs tonight.
- CS-Nation have conducted an interview with one of Ritual Entertainment's lead developers Richard "Levelord" Gray. As well as the interview there are some new screenshots for you to take a peek at. read it here.

In other games, you play capture the flag or deathmatch, and it is constant action, without a break.
CS makes you fat, it allows you to munch a choccy biccy as you sit there as a ghost watching the remaining players battle it out. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

CS is a TEAM game, whether America has better players or not their teamwork blows goats.
I watch demo's of these CAL-i clans and its like watching some uk2 nubs.
You have no tactics for T, your rushes could be completed by 5 year olds and you all argue amongst yourselves.

ALSO, I HAVE THE REASON WHY EUROS ARE BETTER AT CS THEN US. TO SUM UP DKT ARTICLE IN 2 SENTENCES. EUROS DID REALLY WELL AT 1 CPL, WE DROP OUR GAME AND WORSHIP THEM. INSTEAD OF TRYING TO GET BETTER THEN THEM, WE TRY TO DO WHAT THEY ALREADY DID 6TH MONTHS AGO. THERE, THATS THE REASON WHY AMERICA HAS THIS MIND f***.
