The CAL-I 3:2 results are in as last nights de_nuke games were played. The big game was between 3D and MurK from which 3D came out 14-10 victors. zEx, MurK, 3D, Echo7, tec and Gamers-X are all looking good to qualify even at this early stage.
gamers.nu have updated their popular 'ask element' section. Check it out.
In a busy week for the Xbox fans out there VALVE's Doug Lombardi confirmed that there will be an Xbox port of Half-Life 2. Although no specific details will be released untill after E3 as well as CSX (Counter-Strike for the Xbox) there's a lot for the Xbox community to be excited about.
I noticed on gotFrag? a little news item about a 'CS Manager Game'. Still only available in Sweden the online CS manager game puts you in charge of a Counter-Strike clan with the options of buying a better server, compeating in leagues, getting new sponsors and arrange PCW's. You can even earn money in the game from attracting HLTV viewiers & selling players. With the game still only being in its beta version it looks promising. Read a very tiny interview with one of the creators here or check out the website. I will finish by letting you know the game is free and once they recieve server sponsorship they will be expanding with an English version.
*update* Just got word the iM-TeppuM has finally moved away from his 56k modem and is now a fully fledged member of the ISDNners society. Good luck with the 60 ping Morgan from all at UKT.

Combined with the fact that cs isn't just about reactions or hand-eye coordination, but about prediction & tactics means that there's every chance females can be every bit as good as males. There's just a relatively small number who play, let alone who put in the amount of practice and drive to be at that level. Males used to hunt and females used to look after kids coz blokes can't breast feed and are more physically adapted to the hunting.
