Beta Testing of Counter-Strike Neo

Having just woke up after a late Saturday night, I stumbled across a Japanese post on CS Neo. Unfortunately for CSNation, their poster could not read Japanese; however with my A-level general studies Japanese and Chinese I can make out roughly what's going on.

Basically on the 28th of April, the 30 day beta testing of CS Neo started. It is taking place in a store named "Red Zone" who are also carrying out the beta testing. CS Neo for those who don't know is an arcade version of CS made by Namco. The testing is currently a closed one, to employees to train them on it. The beta will become open to the general public around mid May.

It seems that then the reporter was taken for a 30 minute tutorial where he learnt "basic movement, weapon handling and hostage rescuing"

A few new maps come with CS Neo, ne_05 seems to be some sort of warehouse hanger on a port. (see picture below). The game is still Ts against CTs but renamed to C.S.F and Neos respectively.

So how much is it to play CS Neo on the arcades? Well the current pricing structure is:

20 minutes 300 Yen (£1.57)
40 minutes 600 Yen (£3.14)
60 minutes 900 Yen (£4.71)
