Following on from recent posts about the upcoming Gamestars event at the London-Excel arena, in the heart of the Docklands area of London, we can finally bring you updated coverage information for the event which kicks off with the largest cash prize for a Call of Duty tournament tommorrow.
The event, which lasts 5 days in total and boasts some of the biggest names in the gaming industry, will feature some of the hottest talent the European CS scene has to offer and is set to be an exciting and media packed event. As always, the Team SportsCast Network, is on site to bring the action to the unfortunate amongst you who were unable to secure tickets for the event including live TVsN coverage.

Well we really have a top CS tournament here dont we lol.
TBH totally frank looks like a complete waste of time to me with 1 or 2 half decent clans playing.

It would have been far better for the UK to send a team to ENC Finals Special Series
than play in another farce of a tournament.
No wonder the UK is lagging behind @ CS.Unfortunatley this is only gonna get worse as I see hardly any of the top clans playing CZ

Everyone knows the ENC Nations Cup is another CB Nations Cup (i.e. mix teams of the best players in the country with minimal practice, all relying on their skill and whatever quickly scraped together tactics they have) with a bit of money at the end of it. Of course not.Its basically the same with this tournament.We all know its gonna be the same teams winning we know its
gonna get like 20 secs at the most on childrens TV(if its lucky).
The coverage of ENC is huge German Swedish Finish TV are all covering it.
Just look at the quality of the teams

We really have to look at the wider picture than just here in the UK.Our best players should be playing against the best in the world.What we have here is a nice little UK comp that aint really gonna help CS in the UK.
However winning the ENC would go a long way to making the UK more of a force within CS than it currently is.One USA m8 of mine laughed when he saw the teams playing at the EOGC.He had heard of 1 thats 4k.
To me thats says it all as he knew every player playing for Sweden and germany and what clans they were from.Were falling behind the rest of the world at CS.
Playing the EOGC instaed of the ENC is shortsighted and wont help the UK CS Scene at all. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

I noticed in UK competitions LAN and Online there is very lillte interest in hltv/shoutcast coverage.
There are always like 20-40 people watching a match, where as in SWE, GER and the USA it's going from a few hundred up to a few thousand people.

What are you on about I never mentioned anything to do with USA teams.As its a Nations cup I fail to see how USA teams could be involved.
If you actually took the time to read my comments you will see that the only competition that would benefit from Teams from the USA would be EOGC thats EOGC not ENC :)

Funniest top 30 ranking I've ever seen, and if your American mate hasn't heard of teams like D-Skyline or GoodGame it's more of a testament to how little he knows about the european CS scene than how poor the standard is at EOGC. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

no GG ????? and mouz second, even though in their most recent encounters and generally EYE appear to be SK's superiors
and pretty much the only team to convincingly beat EYE recently was spiXel who happen not to be on there
