Not content with contributing to the largest set of prizes seen at a UK gaming tournament in a considerable amount of time, ABIT have extended an invitation to all qualified players to attend the LAN party free of charge this weekend.
Whether you have qualified for Counter Strike (1.6) or Warcraft III, we are offering, 25 FREE places at the ACON5 LAN Party, which opens at 7pm on Friday 22nd April and runs through the competition days until Sunday 5pm. The LAN party is being run by GameOn - an experienced and respected LAN party organiser in the UK.
The places will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Clans who are competing in the Counter Strike competition should note that the offer is limited to 5 free places per Clan. This offer is ONLY available to players taking part in the ACON UK Final.
- To take up this offer, simply visit this link - http://www.gameon.co.uk/abit/signup.php?cmd=readme
- ...Or if you already hold a GameOn account then please sign up here http://www.gameon.co.uk/?page=14&stage=1&lan_id=60
Once you have signed up please send a mail to aconlan@gameon.co.uk and state the following...
- 1st Name and Surname
- The nickname on the sign up (For LAN #60)
- Clan you are in.
- IGUK Centre you qualified with. (Please ensure that your use your Clan name and/or Tag name on the sign up).
Once we have received your email your seat will then be added as paid by ABIT/ACON. We look forward to meeting you at the event! Best of luck in your preparations!
This could well be the accomodation solution many of you were seeking for. As stated in the press release, there are only 25 available places, so it would be best to get signed up as soon as possible.
If that also was not enough, then ABIT have announced that an Intel 560 (3.6GHz) CPU will be up for grabs through lucky draw (each competitor gets a raffle ticket for each game they play). Also note that the Counter-Strike group are due to be released this evening.

luck you go left from the train station, the opposite way to the chinese and Tesco. Go over the bridge and go straight ahead at the next two round abouts and follow the road and you should come to it! [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
