Unfortunately another LAN event has had to delay again due to lack of sign-ups. This time it's UKEL, the tournament I personally was looking forward to. Here is a statement from the UKEL staff:

Unfortunately, as feared the qualifier for UKEL on 18th October has had to be postponed. We have now taken the decision to stage the final in the new year to prevent a rush around Christmas time to get a qualifier and a final in. However without further ado, we are happy to announce that the signup form for the 1st November qualifier is online. We must reiterate, due to now annoying queries from players, that this tournament is held on LAN at TheFragCafe in Sheffield. As well as this the signup form is ONLY for the 1st November qualifiers.

This comes with the news of Manchester eSports LAN also said to be pushed back a second time now due to lack of sign-ups. I was looking forward to both of the events, let's hope both can still go ahead.

For a first time event the website tells us whats needed, just need to apply a bit of common sense. I mean, there not going to give away prizes in an online qualifier, are they!
