EYE-Ballers Interviewed

Those of you living under a rock for the past six months may have missed it but team EYE-ballers won the recent CPL Summer event defeating their arch rivals SKgaming. However since then Hyper who played a huge part in EYE's success departed and joined up with the clan that first brought you the gaming glove (SK). How do EYE feel about Hyper's departure? That question and many more are answered in their lastest interview. Here's a short teaser:

Some people call your team 'Team EYE' and some call it 'Team EYEBALLERS'. What is officially your team's name? What is the history behind the team name?

EYE|divino : I guess it has something to do with eyeballing - like staring someone down.

There was a lot of talk after the CXG win where people claimed that SK only lost because of the circumstances surrounding that event. You feel fairly vindicated as a team that rivals SK in skill now that you have backed up that win with a win at CPL?

EYE|vilden : Yes, there was no doubt which team was the best at CPL Summer because we actually defeated them twice.
Missing from today's interview is Hyper who was lured to join the ranks of team Schroet Kommando. Was this separation amicable? What did SK offer him that would convince him to leave the world championship team?
EYE|vilden : Hyper dropped out of school last year and has to make an income from playing this game. I think that is the main reason for his departure from our team.
EYE|GudeN : Well, we are still sponsor-less a few months after the win, and Hyper wanted to make money from playing. He couldn't wait for us to get a good sponsor deal going.

It's one of those things that if you just sit there playing for days on end you improve hugely; unlike football for example where you need some sort of immense natural talent to make a lot of money out of it.
