The Electronic Sports World Cup has finished the draw for both the male and female Counter-Strike competitions. The groups for the male event are as follows:
Group 1
| Group 2
|
Group 3
| Group 4
|
Group 5
| Group 6
|
Group 7
| Group 8
|
Although mibr will be favourites to win the group following their recent bootcamps with SK.swe, WOLF should be aiming to finish 2nd in group 3. If they manage to do so they will be placed in a group with the 1st places from groups 1 and 7 and the 2nd place from group 5.
Groups 2, 4 and 6 appear to be the hardest with top teams from North America and Europe battling it out for qualifying spaces. An upset here could easily see a top side being eliminated early on in the tournament.
The Counter-Strike female groups have also been drawn. UK representatives SCEE.Ladies have been drawn in a group alongside L.AMD of Brazil, FGirl from Portugal and seule of Sweden. We will keep you posted on WOLF's and SCEE's progress throughout the week.
