CSNation have updated their CS1.3 Info Page with some news about the next release due.They have some screenshots of the new de_inferno, screens of de_torn (a great map) and news with the rest of the changes/updates set to come with the new release, such as voice comm and HLTV.
They also say that de_vertigo and de_rotterdam are 'rumoured' to be cut from the new release which isn't bad news in my opinion...they're ok maps, just not as good as some. You'll find the rest of the info on their site.
