PunkBuster has announced the joint sponsorship of a dedicated Game Server devoted to testing PunkBuster against cheats and hacks:"There has been some concern in the community recently about groups that keep track of clan players who have been caught cheating with PunkBuster and how that sometimes league admins or honest players can be unfairly targeted if they test cheats for legitimate reasons (such as to review demos or submit new cheats to PunkBuster for detection) and are later caught when they fail to properly remove the cheat before joining a public server being monitored by PunkBuster. One of the more well known sites, The Blacklist, has stepped forward to address this issue by providing Administration of a test Game Server...The test Game Server can be used by anyone. You are fully encouraged to get "caught" repeatedly on this Server as no record will be published. The Game Server is not for playing, but for testing cheats and hacks against the current version of PunkBuster. If you are a league admin or just a concerned user, you can join this Game Server and run any type of cheat or hack you want to without fear of retribution when caught with a cheat running. The test Game Server has a password of "punkbuster" and its IP Address is 205.143.209.75:27015."
