Ethereal, over on Clanbase, has written up a new column entitled 'The Gamer's Curse:"Enschede - Today's gamer seems to have very little regard for the censorship of his own words or actions. While the Internet offers the gamer a way to vent the problems he faces in real life while remaining anonymous, it seems the regard for decency and sportsmanship has declined due to this same anonymity. Without wanting to sound like a grandfather muttering about the present youth, I wish to discuss where this is leading."
He talks about what shocks people online, how people act online and censorship on Clanbase. He is asking for opinions on whether clanbase should filter out any obscene names, clan logos etc, if they are considered to be shocking.
