CPL London Final - NiP vs aT

Finally the ELSA CPL Europe is down to the last two. Top seeds, NiP (Ninjas in Pyjamas), will play aT (12^th seeds) after both came through a tough semi-final stage.

At the semi final stage NiP had put out third seeds, Schroet Kommando, in a tense affair between two top clans. The first map was de_cbble where NiP were outstanding and won 13 rounds as T, to only 1 round from SK as T (cbble score 13-1 to NiP). The second map was de_nuke, where SK would have to win at least 12 rounds to be in with a chance of progressing. A tall order at the best of times, but even harder against one of Europe's top clans, they managed to win a respectable 7 rounds...meaning they had only 8 in total though, and NiP were through already, having no need to play as Ts to win.

The other semi-final was between GoL and aT, two clans many wouldn't have expected to be in there at such a late stage. The first map was, again, de_cbble where both clans put up a great contest to come through at 6 rounds a piece, making the next map even more crucial. Come de_nuke it was GoL's turn to start as T and they were met with an extremely determined and talented aT, who managed to defend brilliantly only losing 1 round to GoL. The match was by no means over but aT surely felt confident in winning 2 rounds as T to take the match. After 6 minutes, it was all over as aT won their second round as T to set up a final showdown with NiP.

SK will play GoL in a runner-up match, while aT and NiP will play out the big finale.

ND (10^th seed) will play clan Z (4^th seed) for 5^th place, while CSA.eu (13^th seed) will play Allstars (2^nd seed) for 7^th place, which will complete the top 8 standings.
