ESL UK Home Nations Championship

After the public vote, we at the Electronic Sports League have decided on who should be manager for their country. Careful consideration has gone in to each acceptance and we wish them all the best in leading their nation to victory.

The following people will be the Manager of their respective country:

What are your aims for the upcoming HNC tournament?
"HNC is a great chance to show that all the other countries that England are pretty bad, my aims are to show this! Honestly tho I wanna give a few of the "less known" names a chance to play with some of the "bigger names."

Do you believe that Scotland can compete against the favourites England?
"Yes, with the best team Scotland can field, and some practice, I believe we can beat anyone in the HNC."

What do Wales hope to achieve from the HNC tournament?
"I'm confident we can win this with the team we've got, most of these players have played together at some stage and there's no nation who we should
need to worry about."

Being the tournament underdogs, whats your pre tournament preparation going to involve?
"Well if I get the team I would like to, then I’ll hope to get it together as soon as possible and ideally get in as much practice as the guys are willing to fit in. I'm sure if we get at least some practice
in we can definitely put up a good fight and cause some problems for the other nations. gl all :D"

Managers are now in a position to select the players that will compete in their National Team, this will consist of a minimum of 7 players and up to the limit of 10 eligible players (9 National Team Players and 1 Team Captain). Each player must be able to prove that they are from their respective country.

The Official Team pages can be found at the following :

National Teams Players will be added to the above teams when they have been announced.

The HNC will take the structure of a league where all 4 teams will play each other twice. 3 points will be awarded for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 for a loss.

If, at the end of the group stage, there is a tie in points between any of the National Teams, the National Team that has lost the fewest rounds will be placed above the other National Team. If this number is also equal, the total number of rounds won will be used. If this is also identical, the result between the 2 National Teams will determine the outcome.
