cZar to Synergy: The True Story!

The cZar organisation was started in August 2005. It got off to a steady start recruiting some good and not so good teams. After CSGN season one finished the synergy team folded and the remainders joined up with the cZar organisation to become cZar’s UK Counter-Strike team:

“We decided to join cZar when synergy folded and we felt this was a good move mainly because of R1ck we knew he would be good support for us which helped us to concentrate on our game.”

The team went along for a few months gathering a decent status along the UK Counter-Strike community. At the time they joined, CSGN had just finished so the preparations for Infinity Gaming 2 LAN event started and with constant PCW’s the team where heading in the right direction. The team went through a few changes. A few players where to depart such as Finch, Wilson and nutt4. They also brought in replacements for them in w1cked and clev

“I think our CS team weren't active enough. Ok, they played lot PCW's and so on and events were coming up... But the fact is that during few months they didn't play a single official match, or atleast didn't report them in anyway. This just shows how bad the communication between CS & rest were...”

As the team progressed there where troubles in the management and cZar was passed along to be ran under a new management team. As the new management teams first decision they decided to ban all the CS players from the main and private channels.

“A few days ago we where kicked from the cZar organisation for no real reason at all i just came online to find that me and all of the cs team had been banned from main channel and the private one. After talking to them there wasn't a real reason behind it. Although at the time we were annoyed it motivated us to make things happen for ourselves so we got in contact with syc which went well and for me is the best thing that could happen.”

A few days later cZar released a statement on the website about the matter. This is what it said:

"Few days ago we announced that our CS team goes separate way with our organization. We didn't handle the situation really well, we have to admit that and understand it ourselves too.

The thing why we took in the new team is because we didn't felt confidence with our former CS team and didn't have any touch or communication with them. The talk about remove without any reason should be ignored. We wish them the best of luck to future with Synergy.”

As you can see there are two different sides to the story and its all a matter of opinion. The team that are currently playing under they Synergy.AMD tag are:
