WEG Season 2: Day 1 Results

It's been a pretty eventful weekend over in Korea with WEG season 2 officially underway. Our very own 4Kings don't begin playing until the 11^th of June but there have been some exciting matches with surprising outcomes to keep you entertained until then! The results for day 1 are as follows:

Group A

GamerCo 13 - Project 4 (dust2)

Group B

mTw 7 - Abit Strike 13 (Inferno)

Group C

Team Pentagram 13 - Team EG 4 (nuke)

Group D

Begrip 13 - NoA 7 (Inferno)

Abit Strike did well to overcome a strong mTw, although perhaps they were still suffering from recent lineup changes in the form of iLight replacing walle. Begrip didn't seem to struggle with roster changes as they cruised to a comfortable win over returning champions, NoA. One can only guess at how much elemeNt's move to 4Kings has really affected them and if they will be able to win the WEG title once more. The next set of games are due to commence on Saturday 11^th of June.
