I do agree althoug the result with ONE was close - and lets face it ONE aren't what they used ot be but they ain't THAT bad. Its kinda a bit unfair seeing as im sure they would have readily played Landed at the event given the chance, but Landed didn't give them that opportunity. 	nixoh enamor 00:46 21/2/2005	Cs is a game at the end of the day.... we had our gameplan and shouting was incouraged by me yes! but the insults were strictly CS and false calls, we shoke hands with every team after every game and were super friendly inbetween matches ask Landed/ants/utd/DH... its a way to syke out the opponent just like a dance and a shout b4 a rugby game, the abusive songs that football supporters sing and the head to head stare in boxing. All sports and all used to increase moral and put down ur opposition. Im sure it would be 10x more fun watching us Vs c4u shouting and having a laugh rather than 5 geeks playing another 5 geeks with minimal talking and using a microphone. 	ChenZen 01:51 21/2/2005	i went lan, really really good lan, i hope utd get the opportunity to go to all the other ggl events to come in the future. few things i will like to say from my ggl5 experiance, you can really go there to have some serious fun, at the same time be in an atmosphere of serious gaming. the hosts of the event are really dead on people, they dont bulls* you and they expect the same from you :D sorry if your clan didnt get a mention here but here are a few things id like to say about the clans that went: Ants: i think DoZ is wrong, Ants deserve some credit, i think a ctx v ants final would have been a lot better as they had prepared and this was obvious, their tactics were daring and unorthodox, puling off a great T pistol against ONE on nuke. Blacklight: Dont give up, we've (utd) had some bad lans, this one was better for us cus we won games, but we still think we can do better with a full team and good prep, im sure u will get a lot of flames, just ignore it and carry on. clanONE: very nice team skillfull and not cky, respect, and they will talk to u if you talk to them, unlike some teams who will give you a 1 word answer and thats it and go away, ZERO social skills. gOtgame: less mouth more action, but anyways, one thing to NOT do when u play bad at lan post public excuse on ukct or ukt, we didnt do it and we never will, if u have real reasons, u know wht they are and thats enough :D gl LastChance: Indy still the safest guy i met in cs scene out of utd, and he is rock at lan :D Super Breasts: Very good team, im happy to see more "underdog" clans making their mark, enjoyed playign with, we should play more often. vVv: lady luck and irish luck was just not on ure side, keep going fella's you'll only get more experiance and get better. Ants.uk were nice guys, came and talked to us (SuperBreasts) asked how we were doing and said good luck etc. They had some good aim and tactics, jury is still out imo. No conclusive proof either way yet. Landed were quality and a good laugh, they played well imo. ctx were just a bit better. Watched all of Landed v Lastchance, great game. :) ccK were cool aswell, i was kinda expecting them to be dicks but they were nice guys. auk, well bit of a grudge match I guess, having played official online and LAN on inferno SO many times before. I swear event organisrs have got some kind of secret joke going on or something. Great game and nice guys. utd were good, as were ONE. Also ta for the ciggie Keiju :D. Anyway, great LAN met some cool people, made some new friends, caught up with lots of old friends and had some great games of cs. I watched most of the ants games, each time i noticed they got shot in the back quite a lot, you could flank them, not posible online. Yes they have aim, but the gamesense has gone from cpl to ed. 	nixoh enamor 00:46 21/2/2005	Cs is a game at the end of the day.... we had our gameplan and shouting was incouraged by me yes! but the insults were strictly CS and false calls, we shoke hands with every team after every game and were super friendly inbetween matches ask Landed/ants/utd/DH... its a way to syke out the opponent just like a dance and a shout b4 a rugby game, the abusive songs that football supporters sing and the head to head stare in boxing. All sports and all used to increase moral and put down ur opposition. Im sure it would be 10x more fun watching us Vs c4u shouting and having a laugh rather than 5 geeks playing another 5 geeks with minimal talking and using a microphone. 	ChenZen 01:51 21/2/2005	i went lan, really really good lan, i hope utd get the opportunity to go to all the other ggl events to come in the future. few things i will like to say from my ggl5 experiance, you can really go there to have some serious fun, at the same time be in an atmosphere of serious gaming. the hosts of the event are really dead on people, they dont bulls* you and they expect the same from you :D sorry if your clan didnt get a mention here but here are a few things id like to say about the clans that went: Ants: i think DoZ is wrong, Ants deserve some credit, i think a ctx v ants final would have been a lot better as they had prepared and this was obvious, their tactics were daring and unorthodox, puling off a great T pistol against ONE on nuke. Blacklight: Dont give up, we've (utd) had some bad lans, this one was better for us cus we won games, but we still think we can do better with a full team and good prep, im sure u will get a lot of flames, just ignore it and carry on. clanONE: very nice team skillfull and not cky, respect, and they will talk to u if you talk to them, unlike some teams who will give you a 1 word answer and thats it and go away, ZERO social skills. gOtgame: less mouth more action, but anyways, one thing to NOT do when u play bad at lan post public excuse on ukct or ukt, we didnt do it and we never will, if u have real reasons, u know wht they are and thats enough :D gl LastChance: Indy still the safest guy i met in cs scene out of utd, and he is rock at lan :D Super Breasts: Very good team, im happy to see more "underdog" clans making their mark, enjoyed playign with, we should play more often. vVv: lady luck and irish luck was just not on ure side, keep going fella's you'll only get more experiance and get better. Ants.uk were nice guys, came and talked to us (SuperBreasts) asked how we were doing and said good luck etc. They had some good aim and tactics, jury is still out imo. No conclusive proof either way yet. Landed were quality and a good laugh, they played well imo. ctx were just a bit better. Watched all of Landed v Lastchance, great game. :) ccK were cool aswell, i was kinda expecting them to be dicks but they were nice guys. auk, well bit of a grudge match I guess, having played official online and LAN on inferno SO many times before. I swear event organisrs have got some kind of secret joke going on or something. Great game and nice guys. utd were good, as were ONE. Also ta for the ciggie Keiju :D. Anyway, great LAN met some cool people, made some new friends, caught up with lots of old friends and had some great games of cs.
