ClanBase EuroCup XI Groups Announced

Today Clanbase have announced the groups for the Clanbase Counter-Strike EuroCup XI. The three UK sides groups are as follows:

Group B

4Kings - Evermore - HQ.Generation - Reset - SK.Ger - Northern Star

Group C

aAa - Ice Gaming - M19 - Plan-B – suiGeneris - SK.swe

Group G

Clan FF - The Elder Gods - SSV Lehnitz - mousesports - PCGamer -x4team

Notably suiGeneris looks to have their work cut out for them, with the likes of M19, Plan-B and SK.swe - well everyone in their group. 4Kings and PCGamer look odds-on to progress from their group, however there are good enough teams in both groups to make life difficult for the UK powerhouses.

The first week's fixtures kick off between the 14th and 21st of February and will continue until 14th - 21st of March/ Four matches will be played Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, two at 20:00 CET and two at 21:00 CET and eight matches will be played on Sundays, two at each hour intervals from 19:00 CET to 22:00 CET. I am not sure but I think the Mouz team which is in Korea at the moment will also play all the EC games, so the Mouz team which plays for the german ladders isn't going to play the EC games.

SG's though looks like the group of death, can see them getting last place if luck doesn't go their way.

PCG's also looks tough, quite a few good teams in there. SSV aren't well known, but they are a strong side, same with x4team. I don't know if TEG are as good as they used to be, but if so then PCG will have a tough job to beat them. FF, who I haven't heard of are probably the underdogs of the group, but you never know. Doesn't matter if they lose really, all they have to do is take a few rounds off a few good teams and their rep will go up, which in turn will improve their chances of getting decent pcws which will in turn make them better. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
