ESL Second European Nations Championship

Over at ESL today they have announced plans for a second instalment of the European Nations Championship. The games being used for this second ENC tournament will be: Counter Strike 1.6, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, Unreal Tournament and an as yet unannounced sports game. The tournament start date is scheduled for 1^st March 2005 and is rumoured that the LAN final will take place August/September 2005 or maybe even put back till start of 2006 depending on how many teams enter. There will be a minimum of €20,000 prize fund to be shared out which we could see rise as the tournament develops. With the recent success of Team-UK over Team-Sweden in the cbnations final expectations will be high.

So the admins ended up giving UK the win as they won the most Terrorist rounds vs Netherlands in the match.
