CSCL Semi Final Result

The semi final of the ESL CSCL UK qualifier between Choke and Ants.uk took place tonight, the result was in favour of Ants.uk who took the match 16-6. Ants.uk kicked things off as CT and won the first half very convincingly ending up 12-3 and then eventually took the T half 4-3. Choke struggled to get any momentum going as T and penetrating the bombsites seemed a daunting task against a strong Ants.uk defence. After losing the first three rounds as T Choke managed to take the 4^th round and hold out for a further 2 rounds, but any hopes of a miraculous come back to force the game into overtime ended after Ants.uk took the 7^th and final round.

Ants.uk will now go on to face Landed.cs in the finals on Tuesday 1^st February 20:00 hrs GMT. The final will be played as a best of three maps format, maps are:

De_Inferno
De_Dust2
De_Nuke

With the recent performances of Ants.uk knocking out Forsaken and now Choke, the number 2 & 3 seeds, this match looks set to be an entertaining final and with that LAN finals place up for grabs I’m sure both teams will be putting in 110%.
