I commend him for the ammount of time he spends on this. Hopefully, considering the talent that is in the league, that UKCSL goes on for a long time. We don’t often get mentioned on here and we’re pretty useless at advertising our league so I guess not too many of you had heard of us until recently. I’m not a regular poster on here but thought I should let people know why we accepted four Icelandic clan applications this season. I know we’re the UKcsl as someone pointed out but all that means (to me anyway) is that we are UK based and founded. When choosing the name I probably didn’t conceive foreign clans wanting to play in our league when I created it two and a half years ago. They’re not actually even the first foreign teams we’ve had in UKCSL; clan Kaizen participated a couple seasons back. It’s quite common now for UK based teams to have foreign players in them and to play regularly against foreign teams. Also a lot of the old-skool, well established teams that I prefer to give places to have died out and the more recent skilled arrivals have let us down often and have proven unreliable. The Icelandic teams applied completely off their own accord (probably Google’d for a UK Counter-Strike league) and their applications were very good. They ping around the 60-mark to our servers so that isn’t a problem either. If people don’t want to play against foreign teams, fair enough, just simply don’t play in our league. Someone asked “where is lc landed etc?” Well we don’t go out and ask teams to play who have shown no interest in joining. We’ve got far too many applications with some people willing to re-produce the karma sutra in my bedroom to get in. I’d rather give places to those who actually want them and who are going to take the league seriously and turn up each week. If anyone is wondering why Pyroux has so much love for me, it’s partly to do with him threatening legal action over me not giving one of my domains to him (lol). Don’t think he liked to be reminded about the .avi VETS made of him either - not that it’s that clear cut by today’s standards. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

We don’t often get mentioned on here and we’re pretty useless at advertising our league so I guess not too many of you had heard of us until recently. I’m not a regular poster on here but thought I should let people know why we accepted four Icelandic clan applications this season. I know we’re the UKcsl as someone pointed out but all that means (to me anyway) is that we are UK based and founded. When choosing the name I probably didn’t conceive foreign clans wanting to play in our league when I created it two and a half years ago. They’re not actually even the first foreign teams we’ve had in UKCSL; clan Kaizen participated a couple seasons back. It’s quite common now for UK based teams to have foreign players in them and to play regularly against foreign teams. Also a lot of the old-skool, well established teams that I prefer to give places to have died out and the more recent skilled arrivals have let us down often and have proven unreliable. The Icelandic teams applied completely off their own accord (probably Google’d for a UK Counter-Strike league) and their applications were very good. They ping around the 60-mark to our servers so that isn’t a problem either. If people don’t want to play against foreign teams, fair enough, just simply don’t play in our league. Someone asked “where is lc landed etc?” Well we don’t go out and ask teams to play who have shown no interest in joining. We’ve got far too many applications with some people willing to re-produce the karma sutra in my bedroom to get in. I’d rather give places to those who actually want them and who are going to take the league seriously and turn up each week. If anyone is wondering why Pyroux has so much love for me, it’s partly to do with him threatening legal action over me not giving one of my domains to him (lol). Don’t think he liked to be reminded about the .avi VETS made of him either - not that it’s that clear cut by today’s standards. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
