GameonLAN change dates

Gameon have decided to move their dates of GameonLAN so that they don't clash with Multiplay's i8. The new dates are 5th-7th October. They made an annoucment on their site:

GameOn have over the past ten days been taking serious note of the general feeling within the gaming community.
Whilst GOLAN was not intentionally dated to coincide with I8, predetermined factors dictated that this situation unfortunately occurred.

With this in mind and to promote unity within the gaming community GameOn have been in talks with Multiplay regarding a suitable solution for all party's involved, including you, the gamers.

As a result of these talks, GameOn have taken the decision to move their event date from the August Bank Holiday weekend to Fri 5th/Sat 6th/Sun 7th October 2001.

Sorry to anyone this may cause an inconvenience to.

This is a great result, because now the gamer can enjoy 2 LANs instead of one!
