Four-Kings Intel today defeated highly ranked Chinese side Abitstrike to secure their 1st place finish in the second group stages of Group A in this season's World eSports Games. With GamerCo and Team wNv losing two games from two, both Four-Kings Intel and Abitstrike knew they had qualified before the game began. Up for grabs were the 1st and 2nd places in the group and thus the right to play the runner up from group B. Many will recall that Four-Kings Intel suffered a defeat (8 - 13) in their first game last season against Abitstrike, but later avenged themselves with a 13 - 11 victory on de_dust2.

Four-Kings Intel won yesterday's encounter on de_dust2, 9 - 4 in the 1st half and then 4 - 2 in the 2nd. Other results from yesterday are:

• Team wNv 13 - 7 GamerCo
• Four-Kings Intel 13 - 5 Abitstrike
• Begrip 13 - 8 Catch-Gamer
• Astralis 13 - 10 Pentagram

The results mean that Four-Kings Intel, (Mangiacapra, Akujii, elemeNt, Red and Goodfella) will play Norwegian side, Catch-Gamer, a team featuring two former 4K members and one ex-TAG player amongst their line-up. Abitstrike play Begrip in the other semi-final.
