Yesterday Infinity-eSports manager Philip "Protex^" Wride announced that I-eS had formed a partnership with Creative, "the worldwide leader in digital entertainment products for the personal computer". The agreement sees Creative providing the sound solution to the Infinity-eSports PCs in the form of the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS. John Moseley, Marketing Manager for Creative had this to say:
Creative aims to provide gamers with all the audio capabilities essential for a truly immersive gaming experience. Working on a project such as this allows us to reach out to the hardcore gaming market and let them experience first hand just how engrossing and all encompassing high end sound in games can be.

Protex is one of, if not the best, manager in the uk. He has secured a lot of support for i-es both financial and hardware. Now i-es have the means to travel to events to compete. Are you really going to gain anything by calling him a c**k, except turning the people that have respect for u, like me, against you.
I appreciate that the majority of things you attempt are trying to improve the uk gaming scene, which is great, even if projects do fail, you are trying, which is more than can be said for most people on here. Rather than criticise those that are achieving their goals focus on your next project. If it is the Hub's team/lan centre then great, work on it. Stay off these comments for a while, ignore them. Don't be dragged into a situation where people can acuse you of petty jealousy.
There's a lot of people at present who work hard for the gaming scene and deserve a lot of credit. Everytime a sponsorship deal like this goes through, other sponsors see it, and they become more involved. For example, intel's sponsorship of gaming teams drew AMD's interest, Creative will draw their rivals interest. Nvidia draws radeon's interest etc.
