Well, Lvirus, from KQ Games, has sent over a mail to let us know that they have taken up hosting of the bender toons, since CS@HL don't do it anymore. Just to go along with the news they've interviewed the man himself:

LVirus: How did you get the idea to make online comics about
counter-strike?

Bender: [pater]creative from www.counter-strike.de once organized
a competition concerning cs-comics. Well, I sent him a
cartoon (black and white those days ;) ) and he asked me if I wanted to draw some every week ... that's just it :D
