Following the recent IRC Quakenet downtime and upgrades, the authentication system has been changed. This has caused a few problems for people trying to authenticate themselves. So, just to clear it up, the new auth command is:
/msg Q@cserve.quakenet.org auth [user] [pass]
Hope that solves any problems people are having.
