There have been plenty of rumours flying around recently regarding CS and CS2 development, alot of which has been rubbish - like Rogue Entertainment working on Counter-Strike 2, wrong! However, Rogue Entertainment were, apparently working on a new CS Game, but aren't any longer. VoodooExtreme are reporting that Valve software have taken the reigns and are now developing 'an all new CS product':
"July issue of Computer Gaming World to feature exclusive first look at Counter-Strike: Condition Zero -- a full, stand-alone Counter-Strike game from the creators of Half-Life. Counter-Strike, the tactical-sim lite that's popped a cap in the gaming world's ass, is getting ready for it's next big stand-alone update. We're talking new weapons, a new player class, new skins and sixteen new maps for you and your terrorist (or counter-terrorist) pals to enjoy round after round of fast-paced run-and-gun action. Formerly in development by Rogue Entertainment, development has been taken in house (not, we repeat, NOT canceled) by the masters themselves, Valve Software."
I ain't entirely sure what this means for us really, yet. But here's a sneak preview of their cover for the mag.
Oooooooh! Condition Zero. Earlier on this evening, Evil Avatar posted up some pics of the work that had been done on the game by Rogue Entertainment:

There are 3 more pics of the game that have also been posted with the actual article. Remember, these are the work of Rogue Entertainment before they left the project, not Valve.
