	Myers Saviour of UKT UKTerrorist 13:07 3/3/2004	(This was an automated post) This is just a brief notice to inform you all that the signup form for UKT LAN 6 will go live at 7:00pm tomorrow evening. I hear you ask "why are you making a newspost to tell us the signup form is going up soon?, why not just put up the signup form?" The reason for this is that the demand for these events are usually very high and in the past I've received twice as many applications as can be accepted. Thus those that signup first have a better chance of being accepted and it would be unfair to launch the signup form without informing everyone beforehand. The event takes place at The Hub in Hull. and the cost of attending will be £15 per person (CPL is $80 per player). The amateur event is for those teams that are looking to perhaps gain a LAN experience for the first time without being beaten 13 - 0 two maps in a row. Whilst the professional tournament is the final qualifier for the first season of the UKT LAN Championships. The event begins on the 1st May with the amateur tournament. The winning team from this event will receive an expenses payed B&B accomodation overnight and be invited back to the professional event the next day. The 2nd place team will be invited back the next day but will have to pay for their accomodation. The professional tournament takes place on the Sunday with 16 teams being drawn into 4 groups. The top two teams from each group advance to the single elimination quarter-finals. In the past I have been very relaxed with duel clanners and mercenaries. For this event the rules are as follows: You may not play for more than one team at UKT LAN 6. You may not play for a team at UKT LAN 6 if you are considered to be an active member of a team that will compete in the finals. (e.g. Any 4K players playing for other teams). Any complaints will be handled on a case-by-case basis. You may change the lineup that is entered on the signup form but only with permission from myself. Update: I've just had a question from someone that has not attended one of these events before. So I would like to clear this up. This is a proper tournament the PCs are provided by The Hub and you do not need to bring your own. You may bring Headsets, keyboards, mousemats, mice etc... [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
