Gaming-Network Opens Its Doors

Good morning all, just nipping in to let you know that a new gaming community site is in our midst, with news and interviews for Counter-Strike and Call of Duty currently, with leagues for both games on their way. The site will be in affliation with Hosting-Live.co.uk to give gamers a pleasant community experience and chances to get their hands on prizes when the leagues are fully launched.

Chris "relative" Dixon, the site owner is also making an appeal for all you would be newsies and interviews to contact him if you wish to lend your skills.

Nav panel, user panel, poll, latest headlines, shoutbox, advertising, all included in nearly every "CS news" site. The only difference is where you put them. The site does need some work though. 	GeN 14:09 24/2/2004	Most of you probably know me under this alias and not relative so ill post under this. Thanks for all that have signed up so far, the new design will be done in a couple of days that will be able to cater for the Mozilla browser and hopefully will be a bit less "like UKT" or whatever. And about CSGN, I havent tried to copy any site in any way so sorry if any offence is taken by the site layout/design (a tremendous amount of sites are layed out like that however). And sorry for a couple of the bugs, the site isnt fully finished and there are still bugs as a couple of you have noticed. These will hopefully be ironed out by the end of the week, with the League/Forums being scheduled for 2 weeks time. Thanks to Rob for the post, and thanks to everyone for showing interest. We are adding a Hardware shop to the site for all your gaming gear, coverage of LAN events(possibly a seperate project) and we will also have some affiliations to announce in the coming weeks. As GeN has said, the site is in its beta stages and the layout is a work in progress. Hopefully with the members we have signed up already they can provide the adequate feedback we need to fix bugs etc and get the site fully functional ASAP. As it says in the post we are looking for dedicated people to post news etc but if anyone has any experience in a particular field you feel may be useful to us please do not hesitate to contact us.
