Joebot 1.3 has been released over on the official site, quite a few changes in this version:- botmenu is extended and hopefully fixed
- better directory structure for waypoints - u can add a new waypoint directory by adding the directoryname to /joebot/wpjs/dir.txt
- bots should only run ways on which the hstages can follow.
- they'll be more 'intelligent' when getting stuck in doors
- bots will run with the knife at the start of a round
- they won't use grenades that often
- less pingponging between bombspots
- fixed some problems with beakable - shooting
- the chat frequency can be set via the botchat command
- bots strafe while running to see left and right if they suspect an enemy there
- added a jump system, which tests if a bot can jump over a 'pit'. This is useful with the windows in cs_italy
- readded system which shoots on breakables if bored ... some time ago i ripped that out, cause i didn't like it ... now i readded it, improved it a bit and's cool
- I took some time to train the NNs better
- added support for training the neural network from a predefined file named nntrain.pta in without an external program. for details see readme.txt
I've never used this bot but it seems to be rising in popularity quite fast. If anyone has used it, let me know in the comments system.
