Clanbase UK/IE Cup: Start of the Quarter Finals

Eight teams are remaining in the UK/IE Cup, which will clash this week in the Quarter Finals. What teams have what it takes to reach for the semi finals ? And which one will have to call it a day...

Tonight the Quarter Finals open with this two interesting matches:

Tuesday:

8pm, Choke Vs. enamor, inferno/clan1_mill #ukcup.1 25 - 23
9pm, Restyled! Vs. Veterans, inferno/clan1_mill #ukcup.2 26 - 7

Choke, who haven't lost a single match yet in their UK/IE Cup campaign, is the topdog in their match Vs. enamor, a team which stumbled but managed to become the last man standing last week against suiGeneris in overtime. If no team is able to take a strong lead on the first map however, we could see this match go anywhere.

VETS know they need a good performance tonight to stand against the successors of 2s2p last week: Restyled!
It will be interesting to see what team managed to prepare best this Crimbo for the encounter and can take it to the last four.

Just a few hours before the match I catched up with Choke (SIE & lok1) and enamor (nixoh & Bobalob) for an exclusive pre-match interview, here's a snippet:

Does your team practice a lot (as in pcws+matches+bootcamping) ?
SIE: We just play a lot of pcw's really, a lot of people seem to think we put a lot of practice into our games and tactics and the truth is we don't. We just play a lot together, we don't have any tactics at all :o
nixoh: Well we do PCW a lot but getting good games is hard, our only officials atm are those in the UK/IE cup.

	SIE Choke 14:37 30/12/2003	Our servers great 99% of the time, it can be a tad laggy at times due to an ISP prob but it effects everybody, reg is always good. Funny thing is the only time people do complain, whine, b***h whatever u wanna call it is when they have lost or are losing badly, at which point i just come out with the old 'shh'.
