CPL Day 1 Results

The CPL 2003 Winter World Championship has begun; today saw many memorable names in action in the first stage of the 64-team double elimination bracket.

No real suprises there, it is interesting though that this event has seen the fewest number of teams competing than at any previous CPL World Championship event. Tomorrow, we will see Four-Kings Intel competing against EG from the USA. EG are a fairly strong side, but 5th Seed 4K are favourites to win. Victory would see the UK based side up against the winners of Clan VIC or PuntoCL. More coverage of this event can be found on Gamers.nu.
