The CPL reports that there are just 13 spots remaining for the 2003 Winter World Championships event. The upcoming competition, which will be the 5th CPL World championship event will draw the usual gaming crowd, and the European teams with decent sponsorships. The big question though, is are there any teams out there who can knock SK.swe off their throne.
The CPL has released an update on the registration status of The CPL Pentium® 4 Processor Winter 2003 Championship. With about 1,000 people from 20 different countries already registered, the Winter Event is almost completely full. Thanks again to the gaming community and the CPL sponsors for their continued support of the CPL and the CPL Events.
- The $30,000 Halo tournament has 32 teams registered and is closed to new registrations.
- The $100,000 Counter-Strike tournament has only 13 team spots available, but has 40 teams that have yet to complete their registration.
- The BYOC has 50 spots available which at the current rate should be full in just a few days.
- C3 has 20 spots available (although many participants have already registered for the event and just need their registration updated).
- All available booth spaces have been reserved. Booth activities and the floor plan will be released next week.
If any of you UK hopefuls want one of these remaining places then register quickly.
