Pimp Jr (Clanbase), has let us know that the PB mailing list has sent out the follwing statement:"We have received several questions via email regarding a couple of topics that should be cleared up. First, the old NAT workaround that allowed cheaters to get around PunkBuster does not work any more. Second, we understand that Asus has been making new driver versions available on their website that contain the *cheat* code that allows transparent textures. Therefore, all Asus drivers should be tested before you assume that they won't get flagged as a *cheat* by PunkBuster. The best way to test is to change your playing name to TESTING_PB or something similar and then join a PB Optional server to see if an Asus violation is raised."
Hmmmm......good to hear that cheats can't get round it so easily now, but I really wish Valve would implement/integrate this sort of anti-cheat program into CS.
