CXG Releases Prize Breakdown

Remember CyberXGames? The LAN event with an overall prize purse of $600,000? Thought so, well they have announced the prize breakdowns for each individual game and below you can find the structure for Counter-Strike:

1st place = $100,000.00
2nd place = $25,000.00
3rd place = $10,000.00
4th place = $7,500.00
5th place = $5,000.00
6-10th place = $3,000.00
11-20th place = $1,000.00

$1,000 isn't bad for finishing 20th at an event. As you can see there is some serious money being given away here, let's hope this paves the way for more big prize purses.

	Dev theb0g 01:09 22/10/2003	There is a qualifier in Sweden but Adren.sennheiser.gx or whatever their tag is are qualifying via a LAN in the USA. They will be playing in CAL (CAL management permitting) to practise for CPL Winter & the CXG. The Swedish adren are entering the Swedish qualifier for the CXG. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
