It seems the person who leaked the HL2 pre-beta has spoken out on Planet Half-Life. He goes on for four short paragraphs criticising some of the things Valve have said about HL2 and their progress to date:
Also I'd like to point out the E3 [demo] was one big fake by Valve. Ever tried to kill that soldier in physicstown ? Notice the door will still get kicked ? No scripted sequences ?
It may well be a hoax but if not, HL2 is a bit further away from completion than we all assumed, and it's another PR nightmare for Valve.

you mean an alpha which has been independantly put together/compiled by ppl other than Valve without all the proper files? i'd never have guessed
how fickle are ppl? one minute theyre jizzing over hl2 physics demos and the gfx etc., next minute theyre demanding it to be released because valve apparently lied, and because the code was *stolen*... [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
