3D Interview

The official website for the Cyberathlete Professional League have managed to catch up with the members of the number 1 ranked US team Desire Discipline Dedication, better known as 3D.

The interview is pretty extensive and talks about a wide range of things such as sponsorship, their lineup and their thoughts on how they have performed in previous tournaments.

Here is a small part of the interview:

Do you feel sponsorship and being a 'professional' team takes some of the "fun" out of gaming??
Bullseye: Definitely not. Our job is something that we love to do - something that we have been doing for years and years. Sponsorship is a nice way to let us take gaming to the next level.
Steel: I think most people strive to find a job they are happy to do. We are fortunate to have found that in gaming.
Ksharp: I think no matter what, in the end we still get to play and compete in large tournaments and that is always fun.
