Here's a few bit of news that may relieve the summer boredom for a few minutes:

Counter-Strike: Condition Zero is available for only £17.99 from amazon.co.uk - according to their site its planned for release on October 10th, but on a trip into town today Virgin stated it'd be released on August 15th, so who knows.
UniCon have come up with another top notch press release stating their latest lineup and plans for WCG.
lastchance have released a screensaver that may be of interest, it weighs in at just over 4mb and has music that will no doubt get annoying after a while. Also, lastchance's bootcamp is filling up fast, click here for the current signups. It'll be taking place at CGZ in Newcastle and those wishing to attend should PM lc-|madSpunK on IRC.
i17 is just around the corner, already over 500 people have confirmed their entry to the UK's biggest LAN event, head on over to the i17 website for more info.

Also, Virgin has an offer of 5 DVD's for 30 quid which I found good.
