Infinity-eSports: The Return

As many of you may already be aware due to comments in other news posts and the UK CS Gossip Tree in full swing, Infinity-eSports are back. This "second coming" marks what could be an even closer rivalry at the top of the UK CS scene with several ex-4K/I-eS players announced in the lineup.

The "new" Infinity-eSports will look as follows:

DArtagnan - Kwak - Luck1ng - m0rph - AnNuM -AkuJii

I caught up with DArtagnan to get his reasoning behind restarting I-eS and his hopes for the future.

Protex: What made you want to re-create the magic of I-eS, and how has everything unfolded to create the lineup you have recently announced?

DArtagnan: Well, talk of this came about while I was in Spain with omg, m0rph had been talking to Luck1ng about a new team, when I got back I got involved in the discussion. The original plan was to hope to bring the players into omg! However m0rph was kicked from omg! so we decided to do it by ourselves, with 3 former I-eS players, we decided we had a nice history with that name, so chose it.

Protex: With the upcoming WCG UK event, what are your plans regarding this, and do you see yourselves qualifying for Korea?

DArtagnan: Well annoyingly im away in the 2 weeks prior to it, but the other 5 will practice hard hopefully. We wont be up to full strength, but we'll do our best, with the ultimate aim hoping to win.

Protex: Any other comments you would like to make about "the return"?

DArtagnan: Just hope we can bring about a new super team in the UK, we want to compete internationally, we're not with the sole aim of beating 4K, but just doing the best we can.

So there you have it ladies and gentlemen, the return of I-eS with several of the former team. This should make the WCG Qualifiers interesting and should hopefully provide 4K with some competition at the top.
