	MadSpunk Last Chance 13:02 6/8/2003	Hydrogen as T sniped us through the middle doors everytime, myself and AdY had trouble getting to B as CTs as everytime we jumped across, smoke and even delayed he would rape us as we went across. Pretty amazing awping tbh, never ahd that problem before. CSGN os a very good league, all the admins know what they're doing and nothing was really delayed. 	-radon- 17:35 6/8/2003	DK you say how can people lose so much skill between home cs (internet) and lan cs. So many factors come into it, - Hardware : you are used to your own setup and having played the game for a number of years, i found it extremly deficult to adjust to a different computer at UKT. Whether it being the operating system effecting the sensitivity or the actual screensize it is quiet hard to adjust, unless you have the opportunity to lan regularly, which some people dont. - Pressure : The ammount of pressure unknown or smaller clans get before they go to lan is just over the top. Imo its hard trying to play when you got 20-30 watching you , making sly comments , laughing etc. All these kind of makes you stressed and then ruins the way you play the game. Another point linking in with this is sound, at home you can hear every movement (to a certain extent) , on lan with many people shouting around you its hard to concerntrate and listen. So again its an important factor. Adimittedly i know im gonna get flamed with what ive just typed, but so many people seem to judge clans / players on one LAN performance that they have witnessed, not being aweare that the player may of done good at previous lans. All im saying is people need be giving more of a chance to play well at a number of lans without being flamed and being judged in 1 lan performance , eg 69K. 	-radon- 17:35 6/8/2003	DK you say how can people lose so much skill between home cs (internet) and lan cs. So many factors come into it, - Hardware : you are used to your own setup and having played the game for a number of years, i found it extremly deficult to adjust to a different computer at UKT. Whether it being the operating system effecting the sensitivity or the actual screensize it is quiet hard to adjust, unless you have the opportunity to lan regularly, which some people dont. - Pressure : The ammount of pressure unknown or smaller clans get before they go to lan is just over the top. Imo its hard trying to play when you got 20-30 watching you , making sly comments , laughing etc. All these kind of makes you stressed and then ruins the way you play the game. Another point linking in with this is sound, at home you can hear every movement (to a certain extent) , on lan with many people shouting around you its hard to concerntrate and listen. So again its an important factor. Adimittedly i know im gonna get flamed with what ive just typed, but so many people seem to judge clans / players on one LAN performance that they have witnessed, not being aweare that the player may of done good at previous lans. All im saying is people need be giving more of a chance to play well at a number of lans without being flamed and being judged in 1 lan performance , eg 69K.
