Few points of laughter - -The site looks like nopowerups, looks like they have just changed the content and the banner. -In the banner at the top of the page, the following is listed: Dreamcast - GameBoy - GameCube - GENESIS - Neo Geo - N64 - PC - PS2 - SEGA CD - Xbox. Who the HELL has half of these consoles, and I'd like to see even a remotely related to these consoles bit of news being posted, like ever - If you look here: http://www.total-gamer.co.uk/index.php?p=pages&id=19 theres a "product review". Nice i thought, clicked on it after being advertised on every page with a nice pic. Review? Its a blatent press release from alienware, oh wait they have connections to eSp, thats right. I might have expect a biased thing put a press release? Going a bit far? The other review of 4u servers is just the same, it says in bold in the opening sentences -"prices start from as little as £30.00 a month, thats a few pounds only like £1.75 per player per week guys. " - I like the way protex is blowin his own trumpet here, hes listed as a staff member for this new site. - why are Mobile Phones Need a Car? and Need Finance? links on a gaming news site? The more links you click, the more you realise how much of it is sponsers crap being reworded on a really s***e looking site. Nice one paul, looks like another top quality release from the eSp camp. Hopefully with the support total-gamers will give us we can grow into a better team thats all we hope for. Any1 who doubts us hey thats ur opinion and ur welcome to it but I hope we can proove some people wrong along the way and cause some upsets. At the end of the day we were chosen because of the demos that had been produced that total-gamers believe to show great potential + cause DD works incredibly hard as a CL + is the driving force that had kept 69k going for 18 months and me with the clan for well over a year. Yeah fine I can even agree with u, UKT was a low point, we pld badly simple as. Though the team that pld at UKT had never pld together at the same time and Ace0r havin to pull out the night b4 meant that all our previous practise went out the window. But fair play to the teams we pld, Disturbed were good as we knew they would be + SFAL simply suprised us, FrantiC had a gr8 game with the awp and did dominate. End of the day though thats 1 lan + the first lan we had attended with that team, we werent expecting miracles. Apart from that its mainly paul just helping us to organise quality matches + advise on the general running of the clan. Seems many don't like the site, some do. A few peeps suprized me with their comments sadly. Far to many posts to give indevidual comments on and I am sorry if the posts from any of my staff affended anyone. UKT have a top site and imo do a great job for gamers across the world and they have a site to be proud of. The Total Gamer site is for a diffrent reason and has diffrent goals to UKT, SoGamed and a few others. So let us take our path and see if my plan works, give us that at least. Use the site, it will have items on it that other sites do not cover. I had no intention, nor do I ever want to compete with sites like UKT, my agenda is diffrent. As for slaggin of eSport Pro, many of the people who have made any foolish and uneducated comments know nothing of the work, effort and outright hours of effort it has taken on my part to get it to where it is. Many have had help [in many ways, not just cash or equipment, but personal advice and help for teams]. I am personaly gutted by those who can tell me what bad it has done. Rome was not built in a day and niether shall something that has set out and will further the community and the e-sports arena. So many small minded people have no idea what is involved and only see what they want to see. As the old saying goes "You cannot make an omlette without breakin a few eggs", s* happens, mistakes are made, but thats how we learn. Regarding 69k - Top team, a good team, well liked and want to do better. Yes many teams are like them, but they may get the break many teams want; why? Thats the question that many teams want the answer too. The simple answer is they made an approach in the right way, proved themselves to me, just as many teams dont seem to be able to do to a sponsor they approach [as they fall down at some point] and they have agreed to a results related support package....simple. You want a sponsor, any sponsor, u have to get off ur ass and create that spark that makes them interested.....then follow it up and not give up...then wade through mountains of s* to prove u are the team for them and lastly crawl over broken bottles to get the first £5...simple eh? 69k created the spark of interest for me, have consistantly delivered [that dont mean win every match] on what they said they would and still shown that they want to do better.....that floated my boat....but another sponsor may want something diffrent, but they found what it was that got me interested...thats what u have to do. Maybe its better that I dump esp and just employ a team? esp now has the monthly funds to start to pay a world class team, but that is not why I started the whole fookin thing........the reasons now and have always been to further e-sports and to help the players and teams involved, best I can [maybe not to everyones expectations or my own @ times, but never the less that is why I did/do it] mmm...tired now...agree or dissagree......its a free world :) "Love each other" - Robbie Williams [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

Few points of laughter - -The site looks like nopowerups, looks like they have just changed the content and the banner. -In the banner at the top of the page, the following is listed: Dreamcast - GameBoy - GameCube - GENESIS - Neo Geo - N64 - PC - PS2 - SEGA CD - Xbox. Who the HELL has half of these consoles, and I'd like to see even a remotely related to these consoles bit of news being posted, like ever - If you look here: http://www.total-gamer.co.uk/index.php?p=pages&id=19 theres a "product review". Nice i thought, clicked on it after being advertised on every page with a nice pic. Review? Its a blatent press release from alienware, oh wait they have connections to eSp, thats right. The other review of 4u servers is just the same, it says in bold in the opening sentences -"prices start from as little as £30.00 a month, thats a few pounds only like £1.75 per player per week guys. Hopefully with the support total-gamers will give us we can grow into a better team thats all we hope for. Though the team that pld at UKT had never pld together at the same time and Ace0r havin to pull out the night b4 meant that all our previous practise went out the window. But fair play to the teams we pld, Disturbed were good as we knew they would be + SFAL simply suprised us, FrantiC had a gr8 game with the awp and did dominate. End of the day though thats 1 lan + the first lan we had attended with that team, we werent expecting miracles. 	Paul 00:47 4/8/2003	mmmmm...well what is there to say, apart from say I am sorry for my bad spelling in advance cos its a long post and I had a great night at "Franco's" drinkin Chablis Crug so my mind wanders a bit. Seems many don't like the site, some do. A few peeps suprized me with their comments sadly. Far to many posts to give indevidual comments on and I am sorry if the posts from any of my staff affended anyone. UKT have a top site and imo do a great job for gamers across the world and they have a site to be proud of. The Total Gamer site is for a diffrent reason and has diffrent goals to UKT, SoGamed and a few others. So let us take our path and see if my plan works, give us that at least. Use the site, it will have items on it that other sites do not cover. I had no intention, nor do I ever want to compete with sites like UKT, my agenda is diffrent. As for slaggin of eSport Pro, many of the people who have made any foolish and uneducated comments know nothing of the work, effort and outright hours of effort it has taken on my part to get it to where it is. Many have had help [in many ways, not just cash or equipment, but personal advice and help for teams]. I am personaly gutted by those who can tell me what bad it has done. Rome was not built in a day and niether shall something that has set out and will further the community and the e-sports arena. So many small minded people have no idea what is involved and only see what they want to see. As the old saying goes "You cannot make an omlette without breakin a few eggs", s* happens, mistakes are made, but thats how we learn. Regarding 69k - Top team, a good team, well liked and want to do better. Yes many teams are like them, but they may get the break many teams want; why? Thats the question that many teams want the answer too. The simple answer is they made an approach in the right way, proved themselves to me, just as many teams dont seem to be able to do to a sponsor they approach [as they fall down at some point] and they have agreed to a results related support package....simple. You want a sponsor, any sponsor, u have to get off ur ass and create that spark that makes them interested.....then follow it up and not give up...then wade through mountains of s* to prove u are the team for them and lastly crawl over broken bottles to get the first £5...simple eh? 69k created the spark of interest for me, have consistantly delivered [that dont mean win every match] on what they said they would and still shown that they want to do better.....that floated my boat....but another sponsor may want something diffrent, but they found what it was that got me interested...thats what u have to do.
