A new site has opened up, called CS Advantage. It is basically a short guide to some of the tips and tricks in Counter-strike. Surprisingly enough, this isn't just old stuff on a new site, but there are actually a few tricks that I didn't know, and I've been playing since Beta 5.2!Basically, the trick is that Counter-Strike's damage-based slowdown system seems to be reset when you switch to a different weapon. Thus, if you get hit a bunch while firing your mp5 and you're moving at about 1/5 your normal speed, you can switch to your knife and be back to 100% speed. However, the penalty is still in effect under the mp5, so if you switch back to it too quickly, you will still be slow.
It is definitely worth taking a look, because I'm sure that almost every player can get something out of this.
